JSC VO Tyazhpromexport was established in 1957 as part of the USSR State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations.
Since 2009, JSC VO Tyazhpromexport has been a 100% subsidiary of the Rostec State Corporation for the Promotion of the Development, Production and Export of High-tech Industrial Products (Rostec State Corporation).
JSC VO Tyazhpromexport provides assistance to foreign countries in the design, construction, reconstruction and operation of enterprises of ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, mining and coal industry, machine-building plants both on the terms of technical assistance and turnkey. JSC VO Tyazhpromexport cooperates with more than 30 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
On the territory of the Russian Federation, JSC VO Tyazhpromexport carries out the design, construction and equipping of large, unique infrastructural and social facilities of federal significance.
