Tyazhpromexport has created a company to provide comprehensive healthcare facilities
Tyazhpromexport of Rostec State Corporation, together with RT-SotStroy (part of Tyazhpromexport) and Medfarmservice, created StroyMedInvest, a medical engineering company. The new company will supply, install, and provide engineering support for medical equipment, including the design of appropriate networks and facilities for healthcare facilities in Russia and abroad.
Product selection and digital solutions services will be provided in a single window format through a digital platform that is currently being tested. With its help, potential customers can order medical equipment and related turnkey services. Customers will be offered, first of all, Russian diagnostic and treatment equipment, including those manufactured by Rostec State Corporation.
The completion of testing of the digital platform and its launch are planned in 2026. The solution will reduce the design time due to automation and integration of all work stages, as well as reduce the likelihood of errors at all stages of the project, from planning to equipment delivery. In addition, the platform will ensure strict control over the compliance of the supplied medical products with approved project documentation and regulatory requirements.
One of the objectives of Stroymedinvest is to develop export—oriented medical engineering in Russia.
"The project is aimed at both the Russian market and export: the experience gained in Russia can be in demand in Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, where the healthcare system is being actively modernized. In the format of a public-private partnership, we have combined the production of medical equipment, the development of digital services, design, construction, distribution of healthcare products, and work experience in the Russian and foreign markets. That is, the maximum range of turnkey services, convenient and interesting for customers," said Sergey Egorov, CEO of Tyazhpromexport.
The Foreign Economic Association Tyazhpromexport, together with RT-SotStroy, participates in projects aimed at preserving the health of the nation. The portfolio of ready-made facilities already includes 15 perinatal centers across the country and a new tuberculosis dispensary building in Khabarovsk. Currently, four more medical institutions are under construction in the regions of Russia.
Medfarmservice Company specializes in medical engineering and effective project management of healthcare facilities in terms of medical technologies.
