The Foreign Economic Association Tyazhpromexport of Rostec State Corporation will build a multidisciplinary medical center in Magnitogorsk. As part of the project, five buildings will be erected with a total area of more than 53 thousand square meters. m. Construction will begin in early 2026. The project will be funded from the federal budget and the budget of the Chelyabinsk region.

The corresponding state contract was signed with the state-owned institution CHELYABOBLINVESTSTROY, which is the customer of regional construction projects.

The architectural concept provides for a modern look and functional layout that meets the requirements of medicine and patient safety. The center will combine buildings of different storeys, including two seven-storey hospitals connected by a passage. All five blocks will be integrated by a single communication and transport corridor for convenient and fast movement of patients and staff, as well as efficient operation of diagnostic and treatment units.

The functional system of the center covers the full cycle of medical care. The complex has 494 beds, including 24 for intensive care and intensive care units. It will include departments of endoscopic diagnostics, medical imaging and functional diagnostics, and an advisory and polyclinic department. The surgical profile will cover 13 areas, including ophthalmology, cardiology, urology, maxillofacial and ENT surgery, orthopedics, traumatology and other specialized fields. Intensive care and intensive care units, an early rehabilitation unit, an express laboratory, as well as a conference room for educational and scientific events are also provided.

"We are consistently modernizing the healthcare system in the region, having built and overhauled about 460 facilities over the past seven years, including 98 in 2025. We ensure a balanced approach by developing both the primary healthcare system and creating large multifunctional medical centers. By the decision of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, we will build a new Multidisciplinary medical Center in Magnitogorsk - this is a very significant and large-scale project for both the city and the region as a whole. It will meet the needs of highly qualified medical care for more than half a million residents of a large agglomeration in the south of the Chelyabinsk region. Its construction will require complex design and technological solutions, so we are interested in the participation of reliable partners from among companies that have already proven themselves during the implementation of large-scale projects," said Alexey Texler, Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region.
The center will be equipped with modern medical and engineering equipment. This will make it possible to introduce advanced diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation technologies into clinical practice in accordance with industry standards.

"Tyazhpromexport accumulates the competencies of Rostec State Corporation in the implementation of socially significant facilities for Russia. The construction of a multidisciplinary medical center in Magnitogorsk will be another confirmation of the company's high social responsibility and its contribution to the development of the country's medical infrastructure. The work will begin in early 2026 and will be carried out in compliance with all technical requirements, regulations and quality standards. The implementation of the contract will be an important contribution to the development of the regional healthcare system and will increase the availability of high-tech medical care for residents of Magnitogorsk and the entire region," said Sergey Egorov, CEO of Tyazhpromexport.

The project will be financed from the federal budget and the budget of the Chelyabinsk Region.
